Hunter Breast Cancer Nurses Group

    The Hunter Breast Cancer Nurse group is a sub Committee of the Hunter Breast Cancer Education & Support Network.

    The Nurses group is wholly sponsored by the amazing fundraising efforts of the team from Lawler Partners Chartered Accountants. Lawler Partners host an annual fundraising breakfast donating all proceeds to the ongoing education of Hunter Nurses.

    With the money raised the committee organise two full education days per year for nurses working with breast cancer patients. These days are provided free of charge to all nurses in the Hunter Region. (Continuing Professional Development points available)

    Additionally due to the ongoing support of Lawler Partners, the Committee have been able to sponsor registration for nurses, working with breast cancer patients, to attend the Annual National Breast Care Nurse Conference each year.

    The Committee also offers Tertiary Educational Scholarships for nurses to complete Breast Care Nurse courses through La Trobe University, Melbourne and College of Nursing NSW.
